Training
The practice is involved with the Queens University Belfast in training medical students. These students are either in their fourth of final year of training and have been trained in clinical skills. You may be asked to allow the student to take a medical history or examination. This is not compulsory and you may refuse to do so.
The practice is also a training practice for GP registrars/Foundation doctors – these are medically qualified doctors who have worked in hospital for a number of years prior to their training. Some surgery consultations may be videotaped for this purpose but we will always seek permission before doing this.
